SOLARLOK 2.0 DC Connectors and splice for 1500 VDC PV installations
TE Connectivity (TE) SOLARLOK (SLK) 2.0 connectors and splice are designed with Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) technology for fast installation. This eliminates the need for cable stripping and crimping, allowing the installer to simply plug in the cable and snap on the button to terminate, ensuring increased efficiency and a long-lasting connection. Our SLK 2.0 connectors and splices feature extended voltage ratings of 1500 VDC and are IEC and UL certified.
TE SOLARLOK 2.0 connectors and splice are range-taking, covering solar cables from 2.5 mm² to 6.0 mm² . They feature a proprietary gel filling that ensures IP68 protection against dirt and water ingress. Manufactured from PPE and PS, they withstand high UV exposure and extreme climatic conditions. TE SLK 2.0 pin and socket connectors incorporate the standard solar interface, enabling compatibility with TE PV4-S connectors and SOLARLOK DC connector protection caps. They are supplied as a single piece, eliminating the risk of incomplete connections. This design accelerates the termination process, with no loose parts to handle.
